Re: DA62 - YouTube Trailer
The VisionJet G2, TBM 940 and 2020 and later Piper M600’s all have the Garmin auto-land. It’s a really nice feature obviously...

Re: DA62 - YouTube Trailer
After flying and loving our 62 for three years, my wife and I took a demo flight in the G2 Vision Jet. I can give a quick comparison.
The DA62 is Wow!
The Vision Jet is a heck of a lot more WOW!

Re: DA62 - YouTube Trailer
No way a G2 would be used yet. Even the sales demos aren't done being used.

Re: DA62 - YouTube Trailer
Ah, I forgot about the pandemic for a moment. I assume that's what has squeezed those three onto the market. Aren't there still people waiting in line to get them?

Re: DA62 - YouTube Trailer
There are "rumors" of a G3 version of the VisionJet coming out sometime soon.
The Cirrus marketing machine is great at "driving" owners to a newer model.
I'll be at a Cirrus factory sponsorred event next Friday and see if I can get any additional info.

Re: DA62 - YouTube Trailer
Another new video popped up on the YouTube Channel. The first episode of a new ' unreleased mini-series “Owl on the Prowl” ' featuring the DA62MPP returning from Dubai to LOAN is an enjoyable watch:
Are Diamond perhaps getting better at marketing than Cirrus? I think they are now committed unlike in the past. I note their marketing is global in nature and not just US centric - it probably says something about the direction of the company/JetA engines. Great work team Diamond.

Re: DA62 - YouTube Trailer
Generally, I agree that Diamond’s marketing is oriented to a global audience. The “kiss off” gesture offered by the model standing on the 62’s wing seems likely not to play well in all countries, though.VickersPilot wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 3:42 pm Another new video popped up on the YouTube Channel. I wonder what’s different about the engines on this special 62: did you notice the modified shroud on the right side of the cowling?
