I did and I’ve racked up close to 120 hours since! Absolutely love it. This forum has been great. Working on my IFR.

The good news about the 2008 is that it’s the same plane up through about the 2015 model. All you need now is the ads-b by 2020.

I’ve had the 2008 as a target since I got my private pilot’s certificate years ago! I’m so glad I pulled the trigger and the place I bought it from really made the experience great!

My suggestions:
- check out the G1000 software status (see if up to date)
- very carefully check out the paperwork, comparing also with the ADs and SBs on the Diamond website
- if the seller has G1000 logs (recorded if there is an SD card in the top slot of the MFD) you can check logs for fuel usage, any hot cylinder or exhaust ports etc
