DA40: bulges on wings around fuel caps
One of the DA40s I've flown has a bulge on each wing surface, with about one-foot radius around the fuel cap. This is a 50 Gal DA40. It's difficult to take a picture of it, but it's quite apparent when seeing from an angle particularly at night shinning a flash light on it. Never seen this among other ~10 DA40s' I've came across. Should we worry about the structural integrity of the wings? Was it caused by bad composite or paint work? Too much pressure in the auxiliary fuel tanks push up the wing surface? Thanks in advance!

Re: DA40: bulges on wings around fuel caps
I have seen something similar to this, close to but not directly related to the filler caps.
It was the top skin delaminating from the core, quickly and easily repaired but DAI technicians. They have a repair technique that did not involve much work.
If it is close to the filler caps it may be more involved.
