I think you are paying $6.30 a gallon for gas. Other than my first week as a DA42 owner I have never paid that much. Usually I am below $4 per gallon. 100hr and oil change is $1,300 so I figure $15 an hour for maintenance. But I *never* do these calculations as they are not fun and the only question at the end of the year is: can we afford another year of this? So far, eleven years and counting and I'm okay. It will not be forever and I do not look forward to that. It's better than owning a boat.
