I am sure this will turn out to be a software issue, but I will ask anyway.
When I load a flightplan .fpl from an SD card to the G1000 in the DA40NG, I have no issues, but if I try to do the same thing in the DA42, it doesn't even come up with the option to import. Any ideas, or is it just the software revision of the G1000?

Re: Importing from an SD card to G1000
There are many things that I can not do with the G1000 in my DA42, that others can do in their DA40. It really depends upon what version of the DA42 you have. If it is a DA42-VI then you should be able to do it. If it is a DA42 with KAP140 autopilot and no WAAS (like mine) then you will not be able to load the flight plan into the G1000.
