At least according to their Youtube account http://youtu.be/yXV3bM1-YRk They're going all Apple with their marketing, trying to give a sneak preview. It looks like it could be the 50 as a testbed for the Dart?
P.S I'm a renter so don't have a full account, but monitor the main forum to see what's going on.
Seasons greetings to you all.
Paul.

Yea... comparing the video stills with some previous photos, it does look what others keep referring to as the Dart 450. (But all the image urls keep referring to it as a DA50. Heh.)
And according to what Dries told flight global... all for only a $500 / hour operating cost!

Re: Something New From Diamond
Could this also be the DA50 with the next generation Austro engine based on the Steyr Motors block that Austro has been working on?

Please, understand that this is a plane meant to be sold to governmental institutions, so they cannot share the information with the public. I guess especially engine data is sensitive. Also prices are an issue as transparence would only make it more difficult to include negotiation fees for the individuals presiding these organisations. So it is 500$ per hour. Love it or leave it.HPNAviator wrote:Could this also be the DA50 with the next generation Austro engine based on the Steyr Motors block that Austro has been working on?

Looks like it is the turbine 50. The DA50-JP7 to be exact.
