Minimum pilot height on DA20?
My wife is 4'11. On a DA20, what is the shortest a person can be and still reach the rudder pedals? Will a 2" seat cushion help? Thoughts or suggestions are appreciated. Thank you. Keith

Re: Minimum pilot height on DA20?
Keith,
a cushion might only lift her up to get a better view out of the cockpit but I doubt she will reach the pedals any better. Nevertheless, I can't really answer your question as my problem in the DA20 is the opposite: I am too tall and soon too fat.
Try to find a DA20 at an airfield close to where you live or maybe you just find one and rent it for an hour to figure out how it could work out.
I hope someone else here can give you a better answer.

Re: Minimum pilot height on DA20?
I think the only way to find out is to get into one as Kai suggested.
Leg length is the key parameter here...
Hmm why did I write that
Don't anyone dare any suspicious jokes ! Kai IS watching
