Your plane is way too clean and shiny.
Very nice perspective I haven't seen before...

Thanks, CFI Dave. The apparent cleanliness is due to the facts that 1) Premier detailed the aircraft prior to delivery and 2) the Austro engines haven't spewed all that much oily crap over the bottoms of the nacelles in the 65 engine hours since delivery; and 3) you can't really see the bottoms of the nacelles from this vantage point.

Re: Around The Patch - KEIK
It pains me to post this, but I based my PA28 there 40 years ago . I see that the surrounding area has developed numerous human habitats where once only wild grasses grew, upon which said PA28 became a collection of spare parts ('twasn't me - I was 30 air miles away at home in Clear Creek County and I can prove it). I see the "through-the-fence" population has grown since then.

Rich, I’ve lived in the area since 1975: the changes since then are staggering. Remember the little local Airshow at EIK, ca. 1980, where Bob Hoover flew both the P-51 and the Shrike?

I missed that particular one. I lived in the area several different periods, the most recent being fall '80 to summer '91. I still visit from time to time, as my stepdaughter and her husband live in Loveland.photoSteveZ wrote: ↑Tue Apr 13, 2021 12:27 pm Rich, I’ve lived in the area since 1975: the changes since then are staggering. I do recall (and patronized) the airliner restaurant that was next to EIK for awhile.
