Flight for “The Mama & the Poppies” -- IRL and ATC
Both my wife Cindy and I were eager for some at-altitude social distancing… and a chance to see the Poppy bloom in the western Mojave. Never even saw another human, but nevertheless achieved a closeness to the beauty of Mother Nature. What have been some of your flights “for the sheer beauty of it”?

We flew up to Klamath Falls yesterday for the same reason.
Great video! But now my wife wants to see the poppies. What altitude, AGL, were you at over the fields? Every landed at KWJF?

Russ, we were generally ~1000' AGL over the poppy fields. Here's a video from a Tiger friend with pretty awesome low passes:
