Outrageously Low Jet A Pricing
My home base of AGC (Pittsburgh, PA) has a price war between the two FBOs, which is notable on top of the already dropping price of Jet A.
Too bad I have nowhere to fly. Jet A is down to $2.12! Oddly that public price is lower than the AvFuel price.
I wonder if the FBO would allow purchase now for use over the next year.
Does anyone know of any other airports close to or less than that price?

Wow, that’s almost worth a 45 minute flight to “tanker up” on fuel since I could save $3/gallon.

KAPA, which is Centennial airport in Denver, is serving up Jet A for $1.68.

WOW!! Which KAPA FBO is that? Is there a minimum purchase amount/fixed fee?
That's lower than the JTX contract pricing I've seen (without a large - for a Diamond - minimum purchase)!
Usually, the lowest Phillips contract pricing is Bartlesville, OK.

Paul, it's the CAA FBO on the field. If you're not a CAA member (or anyone else flying using jet-A in the states), look into it: https://www.corpaa.us/
Richard, CAA fuel at AGC is significantly cheaper
APA, HIO, RVS, AGC are some of the nation's cheapest FBOs. Some good stuff around Omaha too. CYVR in Vancouver gets a shout out for being the cheapest major airport fuel prices I've seen.

You have to pay to be a CAA member and it's not available at as many airports as other fuel cards, but where it's available, it's usually a great deal. You would need to look at the available airports and then see if it is worth it for a fuel sipping Diamond. In the M600, I can save the annual fee with one tank.

I covered the annual fee in the first three months flying the DA42. But there were a few places where the retail price was OUTRAGEOUS and then the CAA price was astonishing. If you are putting in 60 gallons a $4 per gallon difference is more than I used to spend to fill the DA40.

Re: Outrageously Low Jet A Pricing
Yesterday I flew to a nearby airport to “tanker up” on cheaper JetA. I spent some time talking to the airport manager who gave me an extra $.25/gal off just because he wanted to get rid of his current load of JetA — to make room for his next load at an “unbelievable” low price to him.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see more GA airports soon selling JetA in the $2/gal range — with so many grounded airliners, and the price of oil going negative today.

Re: Outrageously Low Jet A Pricing
How low can it go? Any idea what the distribution cost is even assuming the fuel cost $0 (which apparently oil hit today!) ?
