Someone told us the seafood chowder at the River House restaurant was worth the trip. So, why not!

We are a flock of five Canada geese:
One DA40, one DA20-C1, a Cessna 177 RG and two Cessna 172s for a total of twelve happy people will be departing my home airport CYJN Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu south of Montreal, QC and flying for about 1.5 hours to KPSM.
The planes should land between 10:00 and 10:30 am. Then, we`ll be heading downtown for lunch and a stroll in this beautiful city.
If anyone is interested in joining us there, you are more than welcome!
Cheers,
Pascal

Pascal,
I live an hour away by car, and used to live in Portsmouth. I do not recall liking River House food that much, but the view was awesome. However, I am not a chowder fan, so my opinion might be a bit biased.
If you are lucky, you can see a few Navy ships come and go.....
I would love to meet, but I have a noon commitment in downtown Boston. Let me know if you want me to check with my brother and friends who still live there for what restaurants they recommend for New England Chowder.

Re: KPSM Portsmouth, NH - Sunday June 3rd
As a follow up, we had a great time in Portsmouth. The people at Port City Air FBO were really nice and helpful. They allowed us to park for 10$ per plane, and they provided us with a courtesy Dodge Sprinter that the twelve of us took to drive into town.
Nice airport, nice people, nice town, great food, friendly fbo and customs staff. We'll be back!

Pascal- Is the owner of the DA40 on this board? I noticed that he has an Aspen PFD but doesn't appear to have the large magnetometer on the back of the fuselage and has replaced the engine monitor with a JPI monitor. I'm interested in both modifications and would like to ask him about it. Bernie
