Re: Finally the Launch??

Is there anything on the market presently that really serves as a good comparison to this? The speed, efficiency, and useful load combination seem like an almost perfect mix, if the provisional numbers stand.

Re: Engine Vibration and Exhaust Noise at Low Power Settings

Sorry to dig this thread back up, but I was wondering if you might have confirmed if this was the issue or not? Shortly after my annual in February I started noticing a similar issue. I figured it might be some sort of vibration in the cockpit at first, but I consistently only notice this grinding/v...

Re: Tire Wear Question

Hey Steve,

Thanks for the response! I think you may have nailed it: this does seem like a "new old stock" issue to me. I'll check the sidewall for a date code next time I'm by the plane and look to address it then.

Hi there, I had my left main tire replaced a few months ago, given it had clearly developed a flat spot that needed to be addressed. Re: Who do you use for insurance? Ours just doubled

Eastern Aviation Insurance/Aerovon has been really easy to work with, in my limited experience. For my 2004 DA40, $1,523 on $210k hull + $266 for $1mm/$100k, $5k medical, $100k voluntary settlement ex. crew for a total of $1,789 for the year, despite relatively low total hours and time in type. That...

Re: G1000/NXi Evolution for Diamond Owners

This is a fantastic resource that really clearly outlines the differences in software versions in a fashion I haven’t been able to find anywhere else. Thanks so much for your work on this! Hi Casey, please check your PMs about flying coupled LPV approaches with KAP140 and GIA63W. Or look near the b...
