Re: Galileo

I am afraid it will take some time untl we can use it. Currently the ESA only lists two smartphones which are equipped with a chip which can process those signals

Awesome! Thanks for sharing. I liked the antenna of the HF-radio.

Btw, we do have a youtube-sharing function here on this board and I replaced your link so the video pops up immediately.

Re: Avia shop

Diamond parts are available from the Diamond dealerships and importers or contact the factory directly. Other well known shops are spruce, pilotshop and sportys in the US. In other countries, other shops might work well or better. Google is your friend.

Thanks, EKRK! Sounds like the explanation the OP asked for and which we were not able to give.

SOLD

Hi Chris,

I did not spend time thinking of thrombosis. I associated this with an illness which is more prone to older people. Probably I thought the same of kidney stones :D :D

The tanks are sold. Thanks for all the interest received.

Re: Diesel vs Lycoming

Manfred, if the DA40NG seems tempting to you because of the short field capability, it seems the difference is only 80 metres take off roll to the SR20. Nevertheless, a DA40 is always a better option for people who focus on safety. Much has been speculated about the reasons why the DA40´s safety rec...

Re: DA40 Ferry Tanks

That is a really good price for anyone who can use them Kai. They must have cost a lot to have made. Yes, Robert. They did cost a lot more to make. Not included my time to make a model first in plywood, then in foam. Given the fact that the tanks are here in Thailand and shipping will cost a bit, I...

DA40 Ferry Tanks

I am selling my dear ferry-tanks which will fit into a DA40 or DA42. They add another 240l or 63 gallons increasing the range by 8 hours or 960nms. The longest leg I have flown with them was 14 hours. They fit perfectly into the back when the back seats are taken out and form a flush surface on top ...

Re: Re-Engine DA42 Thilert with Rotax 915 iS

The 915iS is not being sold yet and given the problems Rotax had with it when releasing the 912iS, I suspect it will take some time until the engine will do what the company announces. Nevertheless, the DA42 as a twin engine plane might be the ideal testing platform. On avionics I have come to the c...
