This may sound silly, and i apologize if it is, but did you enter the approach into the g1000 with all the fixes? I have at times forgotten to put in the approach.

That's the same fuel burn as the Cirrus jet, Cary. But I think you are climbing faster. (Although JetA is quite a bit cheaper than 110LL.) I do miss the efficiency of the DA42. It looks like I will have to change my info. I bit the bullet and paid way too much for this plane, but it is now mine. It is old (like me) but flies well. The turbonormalized IO-550 engine let the plane fly at 187 KTAS at 10,000 feet on a hot summer day in Houston. Here is one picture of this plane...
