Dave, the G1000 is not on the TC it was installed via STC (at least for the DA40-180 models).

Doesn't the G1000 have a button that can be pushed to "declutter" the screen? It's been so long since I've tried that I can't remember if it does or if it's just my iPad or the experimental hardware in my Sportsman that does this. Anyway declutter might hide traffic.
