Re: What's the width of your hangar opening?
Just picked up a hanger which is also a scarce resource at my local airport. Its only 46 feet wide but I also invested in a BestTug so it makes a one man job of parking and removing the airplane easier...as long as I remember to keep the nose wheel on the center line marking the center of the hange...

Re: Best products for cleaning the plane
Hi Louis, which Simple Green do you use? I would like to try this but notice that there are 3 variants: Simple Green All-Purpose Cleaner, Simple Green Industrial Cleaner and Degreaser, Simple Green Clean Building All-Purpose Cleaner. I am thinking the All-Purpose Cleaner?

Standby Alternator pre-flight check.
I am about 1/2 way through my training and looking forward to doing some solo x-country trips. In my spare time I often run through checklist in my head when away from the airplane and realized today that the standby Alternator is not a part of mt pre-flight check whatsoever. I have never touched th...

Re: Any value flying with the Apple Watch?

I set it for 30 minutes and I get a consistent vibration on my wrist as a reminder, fuel pump on and I switch the tanks, fule pump off. I am still a student pilot and I have forgotten to switch tanks many times prior to using...

Re: Time to start a DA50 forum again
I agree the colour scheme is very bold but I am sure they will offer a variety of exterior designs. I did notice that the intro video showed a RAM ball mount affixed to the left/front side above the front facing air vent. Would be nice if ball mounts come pre-installed.

This is weird question but would the magnet mount pose any problems for the compass or heading indicator?
