What county are you in?

Would you want to fly in a plane where the airframe cannot take the stress of a slip? I would hardly believe there is an authoritative source stating the airframe could not take that stress. Our DA40s are TOUGH!

You perform the non precision RNAV step down approach. Unfortunately those tend to have much higher minima.

Has anyone had corrosion on the horizontal stabilizer brackets? We found some this annual and it looks more like rust - according to my maintenance director the parts are nickel plated and the plating sometimes corrodes. I have about 1400 flight hours and the plane has been hangared its entire life....
