Re: G1000 NXi Phase III

$350k. Maybe a little more depending on prop and condition. That would be a very good deal compared to the ~$490,000 you might pay for a used DA40-XLS with NXI Phase II if you could even find one. Appreciate the answer. I would rather pay for a 2009 DA40-XLS that had been converted to G3X or equiva...

Re: Would you buy another DA XX?

I agree with you Colin. I own a PT6 single now and would not go to a twin unless it was a twin turbine. As far the OP’s question, yes I would. I’m actively looking for a DA40 now. I sold mine in 2012 and went to a SR22T and then a Meridian and now an M600 but my kids want to learn how to fly and I’d...

Do tell. Also, can you post a link to the DA40 accident from this year? I have not seen that one.

My guess is that one of the Swiss cheese holes here is not taking advantage of the trim wheel to the fullest extent.

Re: MSB-E4-034 High Pressure Fuel Pump driving gear

I'm loving my plane but being a long way from an authorized service center has me rethinking my choice. Hopefully Lifestyle Aviation will be expanding the service options in the west. Scott, can you get this work done at Arlin's in Bozeman? Not too far away and plenty of NG experience. Maybe if the...

I'll third Sedona. There is a surprisingly good restaurant on the field. In the summer though, I only fly there in the morning with calm winds.

Re: First flight of the retractable DA50

Diamond can figure out how to fit some auxiliary fuel tanks Those belly tank things warbirds use are really cool. The ones you can release when you don't need them anymore? With prepaid FedEx labels on them. I wonder what the piston market would look like today if the DA50 was released 10 years ago...
