Re: London Factory PIREP
...and I don't like the X-Feed test procedure as it's way too easy, even with careful checklist work, to leave the levers in the wrong position. Easy fix for this nuisance is to raise the center armrest to the upright position as soon as you place the levers in the crossfeed position. Super uncomfo...

Re: DA62 Length Question
Also, you might want to contact Redline Aviation in the near future to place an order for the fitting you will need to replace the DA40 fitting you now have on your Sidewinder. The DA62 nosewheel tire is far too large for the DA40 Sidewinder to fit.

Re: DA62 Length Question
My door is 45'11" wide. Hangar is 49'2" wide by 39'11" deep interior dimensions. I know I can just lift the plane on these dollies posted below, but some kind of fail proof rail system like yours may be better. Could yours be adapted to cant more to the side to allow for the smaller ...

Re: DA62 Length Question
Within a few inches works. John also sent me pictures of your system, which I understand you're selling. I would like to talk with you to see if it can work for me since my door is a little smaller than yours. I have 8" of clearance each side on a 48' opening by canting the DA62 15 degrees and...

Re: DA62 Length Question
Just got this from John Armstrong at LifeStyle. ... Quick disclaimer - I provided that drawing, and those dimensions are not exact, they are approximations. I scaled the maintenance drawing in AutoCad and took the measurements from there. That said, I have verified other measurements I've taken fro...

Re: Start switch
Does anyone also have experience with the problems of these switches? I had a similar problem, but the fix took years, and many thousands of dollars to fix. I wish it was only $425. Fast forwarding to the end of the story, the start switch assembly probably needs to be replaced again if you are sti...

Re: DA62 First Ever RAAC Retrofit
I think that the misconception of how air conditioning works in general is amplified when applying it to an aircraft with massive canopy plexiglass exposure, and heat soaking. At best, a residential air conditioner will cool about 3 degrees F per hour in a well shaded environment. An aircraft with a...

...Today I started with 60 USG (full fuel in the main tanks and 10 USG in the auxiliaries - based on previous totalizer reading). It is certainly you choice to ignore the requirements of the AFM. Again: If the auxiliary tanks are in use, both tanks must be refueled to the maximum level to provide p...
