Re: Alternate air related load drop
Thanks for another opinion. However, the output of both engines is ok at altitude and starts to be different only when alternate air is activated and only at altitudes higher than 14.000 feet.

Re: Finally the Launch??
SR22T G6 is more than 900k so why would we expect DA50 to be cheaper?
BTW DA42 is close to 1M and DA42 is 1.4M.

Re: Finally the Launch??
TBH I also don’t see the niche for 1M SEP non-pressurized, flying below 200 KTAS, regardless of low consumption. For that kind of money you can always go to SET, have pressurization, fly at FL250 and above at 250 KTAS or more, burning 25 or so gallons of JetA. Ok, you won’t own the new aircraft but ...

Re: Finally the Launch??
300k plane which flies 230 ktas is probably 30 years old and has totally outdated avionics. BTW 100LL is not available in some parts of Europe especially at larger airports.

Re: Katana emergency landing in the Austrian alps
It's great that everyone is ok, I hope we'll get some info about sudden loss of power that led to crash landing.

Re: Finally the Launch??
Really disappointing numbers - my DA42 with CD-155 engines beats it in every aspect except in useful load. I don't see any market for it with that range (what's real range when flying 181 KTAS at FL160?), probably not so fast if you want range (I guess 150 KTAS), single engine, no chute.
