How to fix fuel leak from check valve

Our DA40 with extended fuel tanks has a leak from the check valve in the capillary line (fuel is leaking out the vent under the wing). Mechanic wants to repair the check valve but can’t get to it/find it. He sees the standard tanks (in our other DA40) has check valve at end of tank , but for the lon...

Unfeathering accumulator

We need another unfeathering accumulator. Anyone know where we could get ours overhauled? The price from a new one at Diamond is not pretty, We have a TDI 2.0 engine.

Re: Outdated Garmin G1000 software - petition sign-up

Our flight school has 3 aircraft that we would like to upgrade. N704AB Da42 Cd135 engines KAP140 N412PJ Da40 Lycomimg with KAP 140 N660PS Da40 Lycomimg with KAP 140 I also know of at least one more legacy DA40 on the field that would likely be interested. I will check with owner and see if he wants ...

Steve
Maybe we should swap. The A/C works just fine. Wish there were an aftermarket heat unit to install to solve the problem.

I just cant accept that Diamond thinks it is ok to for their planes to be the butt of jokes like this though. Oh well.

Re: DA42 Cabin Heat

We have a TDI 2.0 and it is unbearable when OAT is below -10C. Froze my feet off yesterday....not just a minor comfort issue, but a safety issue as well IMO.

Mechanics have done work with no improvement. Any new suggestions appreciated. (btw...rear seat passenger was not impressed either).

Re: DA42 Exhaust clamp AD and the "25 hour inspection" following compliance

We are doing the 25 hour locally. No choice for us really (flight school plane). We just installed the new washers yesterday on one side. Mechanics think it is more secure, yet flexible than before. Checked into getting the new pipes from Technify...cost for all parts is just under $3,000 (for both ...

DA42 on a 135 certificate

We are interested in putting our DA42 on an existing 135 certificate. If anyone out is willing to share their ops manual that has managed to jump through your local FSDO hoops, I would greatly appreciate it. Otherwise, sharing your stories here would be greatly appreciated. If anyone is interested, ...
