Re: Euro Crisis hits GA in Italy
Hi, does anybody knows how it works in Florida. For my condominium I have to pay quite a big property tax. much more than I would have to pay here in Switzerland. I wonder what would be tax wise if will bring my DA40 over to Florida? That's quit an option for the future. Thomas

Re: DA40 Tundra Star v DA40 Lycoming

For the aircraft < 5700kg there is the rh pattern in the valley. We do have regular Global Express and G5 Jets vis...

Re: DA40 Tundra Star v DA40 Lycoming

Sometimes the approach is a bit strange, but can easily be flown with a DA40. Come to a visit .... LSZC my airport, Buochs Airport, also an ex air force bas...

Re: DA40 Tundra Star v DA40 Lycoming
Hi Konrad, I think you can not compare the Maule with the DA40. I learned to fly on a Maule, with Ray Maule in Moultry GA Spence Field. I like to fly the MX7-235 we had as a tow plane in our club. As tow pilot you get excellent landing training wich is needed for that plane. But for back country the...

Re: Gear up landing DA42
Steve, the landing roll was a landing slide ... 220m / 722 feet - touch down at 60kts - wind from the front left at 4 kts. It was the day when whole IFR and commercial traffic in Europe was grounded due to the vulcano ash from Island - the name of the vulacano "Eyjafjalljökull" easy name i...
