Re: Switching to Dual Cue FD in G1000
Be sure to get lots of practice with the duel cue. Once you learn it you won't want to go back.

Re: Steam DA40 to Glass
I will look again at your post when I have time but in my opinion the steam gage airplanes are a great choice. You can upgrade them however you want and they are lighter with better Cg. It’s a good choice

A while back I added a 76 year old pilot to my policy. They didn’t want to touch him despite his 15 or so type ratings and 24,000 hours.
I finally was able to convince them if I agreed to have him get 10 hours in type. It was maybe a 10 percent increase

Re: Potential source of Lean of Peak fuel flow imbalance
I replaced mine troubleshooting my SIM4N issues (in the end went back to mag and flying great). Just make sure the A&P torqued the fuel lines, as mine did not, the main fuel line to the spider was hanging by two threads, MIF. Brilliant. Did you take this up with him? He's trying to kill you.

Anyone have a link? Isn’t the current board we are talking on pretty much the same as a Diamond Pilot’s Association?
