I mounted the camera on the mooring point using MyPilotPro GoPro Mounts from the U.S. www.mypilotpro.com. These are super safe in that that there is a blue tension bar which keeps everything tight, in addition to safety pins should anything come loose. Have captured really good videos using the HERO...

For DA62 and other Diamond Aircraft Owners in Europe, I highly recommend Diamond‘s own maintenance facility in Frankfurt-Egelsbach EDFE. Superb service and attention to detail with highly competent team.

I carried out my MEP-IRA with Angel City Flyers at KLGB last year exclusively on the DA62. Contact CFI Cary Jones who is fabulous.

I would not hesitate in recommending the DA62 for space and safety. As for endurance, I recently flew from Pafos LCPH to Brindisi LIBR with a constant 46-51 kts headwind, taking 6 hours 18 minutes and still had 12 USG on landing. Absolutely amazing capabilities this aircraft!!

There is more risk with automatic inflation if we are still in the aircraft which is filling with water. Safer to pull the cord once we are outside.
