smoss wrote: Sat May 01, 2021 1:25 pm Andrew, does the Inogen system create enough oxygen to suffice at higher altitudes, or does it max out at some level?
Steve, the Inogen system is FAA approved for single user upto 18,000ft MSL, and for the dual user up to 14,000ft MSL

Re: Portable Oxygen Systems

Re: DA40NG Lost Engine in IMC

Thanks Marco. By the way, I did a looong XC last week, 20hrs. Was reflecting on the smoothness of the NG during that time...

My understanding was that the plane in question is back in the air. If that is the case, surely something was "fixed"...

The DA62 is Wow!

The Vision Jet is a heck of a lot more WOW!

Re: Thinking of DA40 after SR22

Is the DA40 really more forgiving when pilots are a bit rusty?

Absolutely. No question about it. Go up with an instructor and do some stalls power on/off, slow flight turns... you will see!

Re: Thinking of DA40 after SR22

I think where the Cirrus makes sense vs a DA 40 is when you have / need: 1. longer cross countries: the extra room/comfort of the SR22 along with the extra speed; 2. when you live / fly out of or into areas where you may potentially need FIKI. I would never fly into known icing in a small aircraft l...
