Re: DA40 Tundra Star v DA40 Lycoming
Hi Konrad, I think you can not compare the Maule with the DA40. I learned to fly on a Maule, with Ray Maule in Moultry GA Spence Field. I like to fly the MX7-235 we had as a tow plane in our club. As tow pilot you get excellent landing training wich is needed for that plane. But for back country the...

Re: Gear up landing DA42
Steve, the landing roll was a landing slide ... 220m / 722 feet - touch down at 60kts - wind from the front left at 4 kts. It was the day when whole IFR and commercial traffic in Europe was grounded due to the vulcano ash from Island - the name of the vulacano "Eyjafjalljökull" easy name i...

Re: Boost Pump
I bought a charger, see link. It is a good equipment and could be used as a Gnd power as well. Fellow pilots here in Buochs are using it for the monthly FMS update of the PC 12. I put it on from time to time in Winter to keep the battery up. aircraftspruce.com/catalog/elpages/portPowerCharger24ces.php

Re: Boost Pump
Hi Antoine. Did you do the maintenance in GRE with Pius and Renè? Sounds high for the 400h annual etc. About the pump, checked the maint manual, there is in fact no relay between the switch and the pump, it was either the CB or Switch with a bad contact ....or then yes the pump itself. Considering t...
