Re: Evionica Training Program
I am about 1/2 way through. On a 1 to 10 scale, I would give it a 3. Not nearly as good as Martha and John King Training programs. I agree regarding the expense and short duration of use. It should be a long term reference. The subtitles are small and hard to read. A lot is simply copied from the PO...

Re: Brand New DA42 - Thank you Vladimir
Several reasons to downsize #1. I used the 600 and TBM for work mostly and needed to get there. I don’t have the sense of urgency I used to have. #2. The cost to fly and maintain those planes is much higher than the DA42. I hardly ever used the 6 seats. #3. The DA42 is fun to fly, great visibility #...

Brand New DA42 - Thank you Vladimir
Thanks to the Russians! This plane was supposed to go to Russia however when they invaded the Ukraine, Diamond cancelled several orders. When my salesman asked if I wanted to purchase the newly opened manufacturing position, I jumped at the chance. This is my fifth new plane. I have bought a Cessna ...

Re: Diesel smell in the cabin
Over filling is common. Diesel odor is potent especially in a closed aircraft. Passengers may inadvertently step in overflow. Even a little bit smells real bad and can get on carpet and rudder pedals. Secondly, if they over fill, you may have drops ready to fall under the wing be careful not to get ...

Re: New MSB about to be issued
What a mess. I have a brand new DA42 setting in Canada, should be ready for delivery any day. I have not heard much. I don't know what to do? Who wants to live on pins and needles every 50 hours wondering if the aluminum count is too high and the plane would be be grounded? The reason you buy a new ...
