Thanks Steve, that is what I'm thinking it is going to take. I talked to my NEW mechanic and he reiterated what you said about it only being finger tight. Yours looks brand new. I was very upset when I saw how chewed up mine was and new it was going to be an issue. :cry:

Gascolator removal tool

Went to change the o-ring on the gascolator on my DA40 and noticed over the previous years of maintenance that the locking ring has been chewed up due to most likely using channel locks. Because of the offset of the ring to the body of the plane am unable to grab it squarely. Has anyone found a tool ...

Throttle assist spring

Can someone help me find the part number/ or compatible replacement spring for the throttle on the Lycoming io360 m1a. It is the throttle assist spring but can't find it listed in the Lycoming parts manual. Thanks in advance :bow

Avionics master switch

My Avionics Master switch (rocker switch) broke. The switch still works but the plastic rocker broke and the internals popped out. Can someone help me locate the part number / any advice for removing old switch and replacing. Thanks in advance! :bow

I am considering buying a jump pack in case my battery decides to,leave me stranded at a remote airport that I sometimes find myself at. The Earth-X seems like a good choice. Curious to see if anyone has purchased one and if so pros and cons. Thanks in advance.

Wanting to service the fuel gascolator on my 2006 DA40. Can anyone help with part numbers for fuel filter and needed o-rings. I was told to look at possibly ordering from McFarlane. All help appreciated :bow, Thanks
