Thanks Steve, that is what I'm thinking it is going to take. I talked to my NEW mechanic and he reiterated what you said about it only being finger tight. Yours looks brand new. I was very upset when I saw how chewed up mine was and new it was going to be an issue.

Went to change the o-ring on the gascolator on my DA40 and noticed over the previous years of maintenance that the locking ring has been chewed up due to most likely using channel locks. My Avionics Master switch (rocker switch) broke. The switch still works but the plastic rocker broke and the internals popped out. Can someone help me locate the part number / any advice for removing old switch and replacing. Thanks in advance!
