PlaneSync

Has anyone looked into adding PlaneSync to their G1000 NXi system? I wonder if this would work with a DA62. https://www.garmin.com/en-US/planesync/ On the compatibility page they mention: PlaneSync technology is compatible with select Garmin integrated flight decks. Availability varies by aircraft. ...

Re: Topping off TKS without making a mess

Re: Factory warranty

When I purchased my plane, I learned the original owner was able to purchase an additional 5 year "tip-to-tail" / 2000 hour extended warranty. Here is the excerpt from the original purchase agreement. N157DA TipToTail.png I wonder what that additional warranty cost, and whether Diamond st...

Re: Losing GPS on approach

I just realized that when TX on a lower VHF frequency on COM1, the GPS2 signals drop completely. I was able to document the GPS drop in this video.

Perhaps, when on approach you switch to a tower frequency thats in this range and you get a GPS LOS.

Re: G1000 for Android

I just purchased this too. It’s the DA42NXi Garmin G1000 trainer.

It’s nice that they finally have a diamond twin with power setting like my 62.
