It sounds like your DA40NG still has the NXi "Phase 1" avionics (the GMA1347 is the tell). Have you considered upgrading to the Phase 2 version, which features the GIA64s replacing the GIA63Ws and the GMA1360 BT audio panel replacing the GMA1347? I'm assuming the change would need to be to the elevator, not to the landing gear.


That is correct, as outlined in the DPA article . No changes are needed to the landing gear OSBs; only the elevator controls (and other items described).

The aux fuel pump and the fuel transfer pump operate independently. They can both be "on" and operate at the same time.

This is definitely not good for the turbocharger compressor blades! The AFM checklist requires the pilot to check that this is CLOSED before engine start. There is no specified preflight check of the alternate air.
