Re: Parts Delays and Diamond Supplier Issues?
Hi, Did you try to contact the reseller in Europe? It seems that there are different stock for Europe/USA... I'm in Europe and sometimes its better for me to order in the USA, sometimes in Europe. In France, the reseller is only dealing with IA but in other countries they sell directly to private. A...

Re: Avionics upgrade
Hi,
I just want to have your opinion on replacing my electric AI and my electric directional by 2 GI-275.
I have a full steam gauge installation with a GNS430 (non wasa) and no autopilot.
Only flying VFR.
Thank you.

Essential bus - Maintenance 1000hr ?
Hi all, Just a short question, because I just noticed that one of my kardex item has turned red for the maintenance of the essential bus (DA4-3110-60-15). It is written "maintenance/lubrification". Is it only an inspection? Has the part to be changed? It has been installed on the plane 100...

When you see the picture of the rudder, it looks like the engine had a oil leak...

Oil filter
Hi,
My engine has always been equipped with a Champion oil filter but it is out of stock for a while. I heard that it is possible to use a tempest but I don’t know what is the ref.
Did you already installed a Tempest? Is there a difference with the Champion.
Thank you.
Arnaud.

Re: Nose gear recurring AD
Cost is 3200 euros for the part only... What did you get for a lead time? Pardon my ignorance, but with the new part, is the annual die penetration test still required? In Europe it's immediate availability (stock in Austria). In the USA I heard from Premiere Aviation a lead time of 6 week, but the...

Re: Nose gear recurring AD
Despite testing and inspection, my nose gear collapsed on brake check on the ramp several years ago. That defective $5k part turned into a new prop and engine rebuild. Luckily, it didn't happen during landing or it could have been much worse. It's not just bad landings that can cause cracking. If y...
