Re: Looking to lease a DA42
Hi everyone,
I will try again,,,
Our DA42 is going for engine overhaul in February and March this year and I was wondering if any DA42 owner is willing to lease or rent their aircraft to us for 2-3 weeks or if we can buy block hours??
thanks Amin

11 months delivery time for Austro engines
Hi,
My DA42ng has about 250 hours left on both engines, and when I contacted my diamond service center they told me that it takes 11 months to receive new engines.
Why is it taking so long to get new engines? will this change in near future?

Re: ECU Fail
@chili4way Thanks for your reply. I own a da42 NG and the ecu fail popped up during ECU test. The student didn’t do a full ecu test and only did half way. When I told him to do a correct one and do it again the L ECU B was displayed. I tried to shut down and start again but but the failure didn’t di...

Re: ECU Fail
Hi Can we as owners remove ECU failure warnings? Majority of these failures are false and our maintenance shop has removed it many times. Unfortunately the shop is not at same airfield as we are. They had a special cable and a software for this. Can somebody guide me how this can be achieved? I'm ru...

Looking to lease a DA42

It will be flown with professional DA42 instructors and taken well care off. We will also pay the ferry flight back and forward to our facility. PM me if you have qu...

Re: Outdated Garmin G1000 software - petition sign-up
I had to wait 4 months for a gear bushing to be manufactured for my 2007 DA 42. When I needed parts for my 1964 Baron I had The part within 4 days. I have to wait 5 months to get a fuel level sensor for my left tank. I dont know why the spare parts take so long time to get through Diamond. I even s...

Re: Outdated Garmin G1000 software - petition sign-up
One of Diamonds representative during friedrichshafen told me that it is possible to upgrade to G1000 NXi and he is going to send me a quote. (My aircraft is DA42NG)
