Just Discovered GTN 750

I just discovered the GTN 750....holy crow, what an amazing piece of Garmin hardware/software package. I always considered the G1000 package superior and never even gave other Garmin Nav/Com units a second glance, Seen them in many planes and thought my DA40 G1000 is the best. Little did I know. Spe...

Re: What tug to get?

I use the Best Tugs (https://www.besttugs.com/pages/bravo-tug-line) and can move the plane in and out of extremely tight spaces with the wheel pant on. Its not the cheapest one out there but its one of the best investments I have made in owning the airplane next to purchasing a hanger. Also the supp...

Rich would you be able to elaborate on how the flex rod is mounted to the base of the seat?

Re: You Know You're a Diamond Pilot When ...

When you are practicing stalls and the DA40 asks you "are you sure you want to stall" like 10 times ...then gracefully buffets, then stalls.

Re: Engine failure best glide speed descent rate

Having recently completed my PPL I had to get intimate with these numbers. Below are the numbers from the POH that I use:

Re: My Garmin Experience

This post just answered my question regarding the Garmin OnePak database updates. https://i.gyazo.com/fc02864341815223c0fe808d0b3b2710.png Prior to now I used Jeppsen database updates and never had to choose between Worldwide (30 Arc Second) and Worldwide (4.9 Arc Second) / Worldwide (9 Arc Second)....

Re: DA40

Picked up my plane at the factory having annual done last week. I can say that there will be a DA40 Lycoming announcement at OSH this year that I understand will change this discussion a bit. Stay tuned!
