N462D out of KDUX

As I fly along, especially the long cross country flights, I will occasionally write down a tail number. More likely if it is a Diamond, but also interesting planes I hear on frequency. And there was a VFR pilot in some IMC anxiety that I scribbled down because I wanted to know the outcome (she was ...

Re: Flight schools training with diamond fleet

I sent a friend to Angel City Flyers since I had such a great experience with them. Cary was the instructor and was reading his iPhone during the training flight. I won't send anyone there anymore.

Where I clear customs has cheap fuel.) I was planning a cold weather overnight at one point and called to check hangar prices for the n...

Re: Jet-A on your hands and carpet

Always gloves. With the DA42 that stuff can go in the nose baggage area, which is for dirty and smelly stuff. I have a tupperware container with a tester in a Ziplock and a box of gloves. My ferry pilot suggested treating the carpet up there with Stainmaster, which I did. He said that three drops of...

Re: DA50 Experimental at CYOW

Hi Greg,

I am now flying in and out of CYOW regularly. I've just been parking at Shell. Do you park at the Flying Club? Do you think I would be better off parking there when I collect my son?

Thanks!
