But to each their own! I am in Canada, and...

Re: A flight to nowhere?

My Flight to "no where" - was Tofino, BC Canada on the West Coast of Vancouver Island.

Absolutely incredible and I am embarrassed to say I have lived here all my life and never been there until now! It won't be the last!

Re: Broken rudder pedal/brake bracket

Wow - this exact same thing happened when i was getting checked out in a flight school DA20 4 years ago before I purchased mine, and also happened during the spin recovery. Re: DA 20 owner/fan love flying it.. stories

How did we get from the love of flying a DA-20 to frigid winters in the NE?!? I had the electric engine heater piece of it - not any baffles. The plug was mounted next to the oil cap for easy access to plug in. My A&P removed it when we rewired the engine for the EDM-900. It might be in the corner ...

Another option would be to move to Arizona. But I am not ready to retire just yet.
Move to Arizona then there would be no summer flying - too hot!

Pascal, do you have the winter kit?

DA20 NLG Strut Inspection *New Sept 2018*

Just in case any of us DA20 owners missed it - Diamond has initiated a new required inspection of the NLG. Check it out here: https://www.diamondaircraft.com/technical-publications/da20-c1/aircraft-maintenance-manual/ Has anyone had this done? If so, how much time did it take your shop? Anything fou...
