we had one of our club planes go through the 1000 hour....the owner thought he could get by under 4000 or so. Well 30 days later his plane was ready with a bill to go along with it for a touch over 10,000. He had to buy all kind of stuff and since the line crew wanted to use the OAT probe as a groun...

yes i agree with you. At this point I dont have much faith in diamond having a complete solution worked on. Cirrus and others have it all figured out and it looks great in their g1000. At this point I tend to rely on my foreflight as it gives me more information and more accurate weather than the g1...

http://www.freeflightadsb.com/ We talked with them this past weekend at the South Carolina Aviation Expo. They have a 4,000 solution that will work with the transponder on the g1000. You will not have "in" on the g1000 screen but you will have "in" sent by a wifi box in the plane...

Jimmy and myself had the same type of issues when we bought 410FP. They swapped and tested and it ended up being the AHRS LRU. It was something that would happen on the ground and then come and go in flight. Glen was able to get to the bottom of it
