I think I am aware of what you mean. As long as people are happy and healthy, let them weigh whatever they want or are willing to accept.
I find this thread drift delightful when looking again at the title of the thread!

Mountain High offers a carbon fiber tank option which is much lighter than metal. I have one mounted in the nose and am very happy with it. During the trip from Denver to Cannes we used only half the capacity.

Re: Fixing the nose heaviness of the DA42-VI
A) 2 PAX = 140 Kg no luggage (that's the two of us with no luggage).
2) Same as above plus 50 Kg luggage (this is my typical mission)
3) 4 PAX, total 280 Kg plus 40 Kg luggage (us and another couple, happens occasionally)
I could believe what I read 2 PAX = 140 Kg (isn't that 308 lbs of 154 lbs each with clothing. Maybe we could run the similar weight and balance with realistic US numbers. Try 180 Kg or about 400 lbs for two. That might do it.

LOL, dont even need to do that.
Post holiday weight and balance has the two of us at 145 Kg . We're on our way...
And with the LBS to KGS exchange rate going... err forget about that.
