Had one flat during taxi at my home field. Now I carry a spare tire, tube, and a jack. That event could have been a nightmare if I were at a remote airport or a busy towered field

I have not blown a tire in my DA42, but i did seriously flat spot it in Alaska last year. It happened on our unscheduled landingnat Healey River. It was a very difficult approach down into the valley. I did make it on mynfirst try, but a number of the homebuilts and the Mooney made several attempts at landing before touching down.
