I had been thinking about replacing my iPad 2 (Foreflight) with a Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10" (Garmin Pilot). My iPad just died, so it's decision time.
Can anyone share their experiences using a Galaxy Tab S and Garmin Pilot?

Re: Samsung Galaxy Tab
I'd like to share my experience with a Galaxy Tab S 10" running Garmin Pilot.
As compared to the iPad2, the Galaxy Tab battery life is appalling. With all apps shut down, and the cover closed, and battery saver mode on, the battery goes from 100% to ~60% in less than 24 hrs.
Also, IMHO, ForeFlight is far better than GarminPilot. Foreflight is more intuitive, easier to use, better graphics, better weather (it includes prog charts), better flight planning, just to name a few.
So, if you are running ForeFlight on and iPad and your iPad dies, I would replace it with another iPad rather than switching to GarminPilot on a Galaxy.
